With the right support and resources, you can begin to heal and move forward in your life.
My dad hurt me emotionally in ways that I never thought possible. He was not the father I wanted him to be, and it has taken me a long time to come to terms with that. I have learned to forgive him and to understand that he was doing the best he could with the resources he had. I have also learned to be more understanding and compassionate towards others, and to recognize that everyone has their own struggles. I am grateful for the lessons I have learned, and I hope that I can use them to help others in similar situations.
